Problem: Tank had not been coated in decades and was covered in mildew that couldn’t be easily washed off.  The tank also had several concrete spalls. Solution:  Pressure washed the tank per SSPC SP-1, prepared the concrete spalls per SSPC SP-13, repaired the concrete spalls with a high strength repair mortar, applied a low viscosity epoxy primer for maximum penetration, then applied 2 coats of high performance, mildew resistant, acrylic coating.
